Car drives through lobby of police station
SHREWSBURY, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Just after 2 p.m. Monday afternoon, a car drove through the lobby of the Shrewsbury Police Headquarters.
The driver was alone in a black 2022 BMW SUV, but their identity remains unknown. They were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries and they remain in custody.
There have been no other reports of injuries. Officials say this matter remains under active investigation, and additional information will be released when and if appropriate.
At this time, the front lobby of Police Headquarters is closed.
