Chicopee officials to hold ‘walkshop’ to explore safety issues

CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The city of Chicopee will hold a safety ‘walkshop’ Tuesday as part of their ‘Safe Streets for All’ project.

Held by the Chicopee Planning Department, you are able to walk with officials down streets of risk to pinpoint safety concerns and solutions.

You can participate in one of two sessions. The first session is from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Chicopee Street at McKinstry Avenue. The second session is 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in front of Elms College on Springfield Street.
