Chicopee store sells winning ‘Lucky for Life’ ticket

CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - While the Powerball jackpot continues to grow after no recent winners, a different lottery prize was sold in Chicopee.

The What a Crazy Year Trust out of Quincy won the multi-state ‘Lucky for Life’ drawing. Trustee Natalie Logan claimed the $25,000 a year for life prize at the Mass. Lottery headquarters in Dorchester.

The winning ticket was sold at Cumberland Farms at on Memorial Drive in Chicopee. The store will now receive a $5,000 bonus for selling that ticket.
