‘Citizens Leadership Academy’ now taking applications
SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Southwick is launching a ‘Citizens’ Leadership Academy’ this spring to help residents and business owners learn how the town government really works.
The 7-week course starts April 8th, and participants will hear directly from town department heads and staff about what their offices do and how those services affect daily life in Southwick.
Requirements include being over 18-years-old, a registered voter, and either a Southwick resident for at least one year or a local business owner.
Applications are available now on the town’s website.
