City of Northampton prepares for Hampshire Pride

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- The City of Northampton is getting ready to celebrate the Annual Hampshire Pride Parade this Saturday!
The city shared online images on Tuesday, saying that the Department of Public Works was out on Monday as they filled in potholes to get the roads ready downtown.
The parade starts at Sheldon Field at 11 a.m. and will make its way down Route 9 into Main Street. It’ll then end at Crafts Avenue.
Officers will be available to help with traffic and detours.
