City of Springfield launches new aquatic fitness program

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- The City of Springfield is launching a new aquatic fitness program, specifically for people who struggle with their weight. Their goal is to make exercise feel safer and more supportive.
Classes take place in the pool, offering low-impact movement that can boost range of motion and circulation without putting the same stress on joints.
If you’re interested, the O2H, ‘Overweight to Healthy’, program will take place Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting April 14th.
For more information about the O2H program, or any other Aquatics programs, please call Joe Federico, Aquatics Director, at (413) 787-6298.
