Crews battling fire at former Springfield hospital

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Crews have been called to a fire at a former Springfield hospital.
Springfield Fire Capt. Drew Piemonte said they are responding to the former Vibra Hospital on State Street.
The hospital shut down in 2023 and in 2024, city officials threatened legal action against the owners after they reportedly failed to maintain the property.
