Dangerous highway driving report leads to OUI arrest
BERNARDSTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- On Friday, reports of dangerous driving on I-91 in Bernardston led to the arrest of a 38-year-old Connecticut woman.
A responding officer found the car in question, a BMW, on Hartwell Street. The car did not stop at first, leading the officer to follow after the suspect.
Eventually, the driver stopped. According to police, she began frantically searching around her car.
During the investigation, officials say the Connecticut woman showed signs that she was heavily intoxicated, and was taken to a hospital.
Inside her car, they found a significant number of drugs.
