SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- During the Springfield United Toy Drive & Holiday Celebration, voluntary DNA samples were collected in an effort to find new leads in the 1990 homicide of 17-year-old Shana Renee Price.

Shana Price, who would be 52 years old now, was found strangled to death at Blunt Park in Springfield. Her murder remains a mystery.

Alongside the event, they also ask that if you or anyone you know has information on this case, contact the Springfield Police Detective Bureau at 413-787-6355 or use Text-A-Tip by texting 274637, typing SOLVE and then entering the tip.
