Easthampton Police conduct ongoing narcotics investigation

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Easthampton police are currently conducting an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Western Mass News was alerted to a large police presence on Picard Circle in Easthampton over the weekend. When our crews arrived on scene Sunday morning, we saw several officers, as well as fire crews. Officials were also entering and exiting the house wearing hazmat suits and gas masks.
The investigation is still ongoing, so no further information is being released. Officers say there is no threat to public safety at this time.
