WINDSOR, Conn. (WFSB) - A man has died after a crash on I-91 in Windsor early Sunday morning.

The victim was identified as David Csaszar, 35, of Enfield.

The crash was reported around 3:41 a.m. on I-91 northbound near the exit 37 on ramp.

State police said Csaszar’s car left the road, collided with the metal guardrail in the right shoulder, crossed all lanes of traffic, crashed into the concrete barrier in the median, and then rolled over onto its side.

Csaszar’s car was struck by another vehicle while resting on its side in the center lane, according to police.

Csaszar was pronounced dead on scene. He was the only person inside the car.

Police said the driver of the other car had possible injuries.

This incident happened about two and a half hours before a five-car crash that caused traffic in the same area.

This crash remains under investigation.

Any witness to the collision was asked to contact TFC John Wilson #1060 via email at [email protected].
