Eversource customers to see slight change in electric bills

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - There is some good news for Eversource customers. The company said Wednesday that it has decreased its delivery rate for its electric customers.
We asked Eversource how much of a decrease customers could expect to see and a spokesperson said a typical western Massachusetts customer, who uses approximately 600 kilowatt-hours per month, will see a portion of their bill go down by approximately $5, or three percent, a month.
However, the rest of the bill will still vary based on one’s usage and weather conditions. The new rate went into effect January 1.
