UNCASVILLE, CT (WFSB) - Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Metallica plan to perform two shows in Connecticut this fall.

Mohegan Sun announced on Monday that the Grammy-award-winning band will play inside the Mohegan Sun Arena.

The shows are set for Thursday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, both starting at 8 p.m.

Organizers said the shows will be part of the band’s “No Repeat Weekend” tradition, which means the set lists will be different on both nights.

The shows mark Metallica’s first at Mohegan Sun, and first in the state since 1998.

“Metallica’s first‑ever performance at Mohegan Sun Arena is a truly special moment as we celebrate the venue’s 25th anniversary,” said Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun. “The 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena has been home to so many unforgettable moments, hosting more than 3,000 events and welcoming over 15 million guests in its history. We couldn’t be more excited to honor that legacy by welcoming one of the most iconic Rock bands ever and celebrating this milestone with fans.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m.
