FIFA Fan Festival in Boston closed ahead of possible severe weather

BOSTON (WGGB/WSHM) – Anticipated inclement weather impacted World Cup-related festivities in Boston on Thursday.
Organizers said that the FIFA Fan Festival at Boston’s City Hall Plaza is closed to “to ensure the safety of fans, staff, volunteers, and emergency services personnel.” The Accreditation Center is also closed, but re-open Friday at 9 a.m.
