First coins marking the United States 250th Anniversary now circulating

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- The U.S. Mint has announced that one of the coins, the “Mayflower Compact Quarter”, is officially out.
It’s the first of 5 new quarter designs that are being released this year. These coins will mark the “Revolutionary War”, “The Declaration of Independence”, “The Constitution”, and “The Gettysburg Address”.
The U.S. Mint will also be releasing other collectible, non-circulating coins to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
