Freedom Credit Union accepting donations for ‘Griffin’s Friends’ at all locations

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Freedom Credit Union is using its April “Month of Giving” to support local children battling cancer.
Throughout April, donations collected at all Freedom Credit Union branches will go to Griffin’s Friends; a nonprofit that helps kids with cancer and their families.
The money funds holiday parties, outings, toys, crafts and other activities for patients at Baystate Children’s Hospital and its Outpatient Oncology Clinic.
Anyone who wants to help can stop by a Freedom Credit Union branch and donate through the end of April.
