Freedom Credit Union to host Spring Shred Days

WESTERN MASS. (WGGB/WSHM) -- If you’re getting ready for spring cleaning, there are things you need to dispose of carefully, such as sensitive documents.
Freedom Credit Union is offering free “Shred Days” this spring and fall to help people safely destroy sensitive paperwork and reduce the risk of identity theft.
The spring shred dates are listed below:
The events are open to members and the public, running from 9-11 a.m. on Saturdays at various branches.
You can bring old bills, bank statements, tax returns and other personal documents for secure, on-site shredding at no cost. There’s a limit of 5 file boxes or paper bags per vehicle.
