GARDNER, MA (WGGB/WSHM/WCVB/CNN) - It’s every custodian’s worst nightmare, but nothing makes a party or the big game more festive than confetti and it’s made in the Bay State.

The family-owned Seaman Paper Company, which makes it for the Super Bowl, is based in Gardner. It starts as tissue paper, but has to be shipped to California to be cut.

If it isn’t already obvious who they will be rooting for Sunday, their office decor will make it clear. “Lobby in our office and you see the pictures of Brady. We’ve been making the confetti for 20, 25 years now, so that was our claim to fame when we were winning every Super Bowl. Now, Drake Maye is going to take us back,” said plant manager Dave Dexter.

No matter who wins, their Lombardi-shaped confetti is going to rain down. The only question relates to which color will Levi’s Stadium use. There are two different batches made with the colors of each team, but Seaman’s doesn’t just make confetti for sports games. “We do confetti for not just the Super Bowl, but concerts. Taylor Swift comes to mind. I know we’ve done Coldplay, Green Day, many, many different venues and artists,” Dexter added.

While the Super Bowl isn’t the biggest event to use its confetti, Seaman’s said it is the most exciting.
