PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- The Duxbury mother accused of killing her three young children appeared for a hearing on Tuesday.

Lindsay Clancy is now facing charges for the murders of her 5-year-old daughter Cora, 3-year-old son Dawson, and 7-month-old son Callan.

She allegedly strangled all three of them on January 23rd in 2023, before jumping out a window in an attempt to take her own life.

Clancy’s lawyer argues she was suffering from postpartum depression and was overmedicated at the time of the murders. However, prosecutors claim she knew what she was doing.

They say she sent her husband out to get medicine and dinner, evening planning how long he’d be gone.

Clancy’s trial is set for July 20th. In the meantime, she’s being held at Tewksbury State Hospital and has pleaded not guilty.
