Holyoke drug investigation ends with arrest, seizure of narcotics
HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Holyoke Police said Wednesday that they’ve taken a suspected drug dealer off the streets and seized cocaine and heroin.
Investigators said Holyoke detectives and the State Police gang unit were watching the area of Maple and Sargeant Streets Tuesday when they spotted suspected drug deals. Officers reportedly tracked the suspect to an apartment on Maple Street and arrested 26-year-old Jorge Luna of Holyoke.
Police added they recovered approximately 120 vials of suspected cocaine or crack, 15 bags of suspected heroin or fentanyl, packaging materials, and more than $1,500 in cash.
Luna is charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.
