SOUTH HADLEY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A Holyoke woman is facing several charges after she allegedly hit her ex-boyfriend’s car with her own vehicle while driving under the influence early on New Year’s Day.

South Hadley Police said the woman reported the accident just after 1 a.m. on East Carew Street. Officers said the woman appeared to be driving while drunk and charged her with what appears to be her second OUI.

Later that day, the suspect’s ex-boyfriend, whose car she hit, reportedly told police she confronted him at a bar to tell him she did it on purpose. Police checked footage from a local business and saw her hit the man’s car and motorcycles.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, now faces felony charges for malicious damage and obstruction.
