Hooters closes West Springfield location
WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- Hooters has closed its location in West Springfield, after an unexpected shutdown at the restaurant on Riverdale Street.
Western Mass News noticed several Facebook forum posts sharing the news and drove by the location on Wednesday. A sign posted on the door said, “After much deliberation,” the business has made the “difficult decision” to close the location. No other reason was listed.
The sign also says the restaurant is “grateful for the many years of great times, cold beer, hot wings, and unforgettable memories.”
With the West Springfield restaurant closed, there are now two Hooters locations still open in Massachusetts, in Dedham and Saugus.
