I-91 north in Bernardston reopen following crash

BERNARDSTON, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The northbound side of Interstate 91 in Bernardston has reopened following an earlier crash.
Bernardston fire officials said crews were called to the crash in the area of mile-marker 54 just before 5 a.m. Tuesday.
When they, along with Northfield EMS and Mass. State Police, arrived, it was discovered that the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was wearing a seatbelt and didn’t report any injuries. The driver was checked out by paramedics at the scene and declined transport to an area hospital.
Both lanes of I-91 north were closed for a time while crews worked to remove the vehicle and clear the scene, which occurred around 7 a.m.
