Incumbents, newcomers win uncontested seats in Pelham town election

PELHAM — A mix of incumbents and newcomers were elected to positions at Tuesday’s town election, which saw no contested races.

Among those on the ballot, Tara Loomis of Gulf Road earned another three-year term on the Select Board and Sarahbess B. Kenney of Meeting House Road won another three-year term on the School Committee, while William Simon Collins was elected to another three-year term on the Board of Assessors.

Incumbents who won reelection as write-in candidates were Moderator Daniel E. Robb, who will serve another one-year term, Leonor M. Rodriguez to a three-year seat on the Board of Health, Diane S. Gray and Nancy F. Arons to three-year library trustee positions, John Philip Zahradnik to a three-year term on the Cemetery Commission and Deborah Nell Mauger to a one-year term as auditor.

Nathaniel Woodruff won as a write-in to serve in a five-year position on the Planning Board.

Of the 1,109 registered voters in Pelham, 90 cast ballots, marking a turnout of 8.1%.
