SUFFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash in Suffield on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the area of Route 159 at Boston Neck Road after a report of a crash involving three vehicles, according to the police department.

The road was closed for about 50 minutes as crews assisted on scene.

Officials said two people involved in the collision suffered minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.

The road has since reopened.

The cause of the crash remains remains under investigation.

No further details were released.
