Jury delivers verdict in murder trial of Brian Walshe, whose wife disappeared 2 years ago

BOSTON (AP) — Brian Walshe has been found guilty of murdering his wife, who has never been found since disappearing almost 3 years ago.
During the trial, prosecutors detailed his internet searches about body decomposition and dismemberment and purchases of cleaning supplies and tools.
Walshe pleaded guilty last month to misleading police and dismembering his wife’s body but denies killing her.
His attorneys argued he panicked after discovering her dead following a New Year’s Eve gathering.
Prosecutors said his actions show premeditation.
Ana Walshe’s body was never found, leaving investigators unable to determine a cause of death.
