Lawn Party at The Landing brings free live music to Springfield this summer
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – More free music will soon be heard through downtown Springfield.
The Landing, located next to the new convention center garage in downtown Springfield, announced Thursday that they will host the Lawn Party at The Landing starting in June. The concert series will bring together bands of various genres, as well as local food trucks and lawn games.
“This is about creating a space where people can come together, unwind, and enjoy great live music,” said MassMutual Center General Manager Sean Dolan in a statement. “The Landing was designed for exactly this kind of experience, and we’re excited to bring it to life all summer long.”
The free, all-ages concert series will run on Thursdays, from June 4 through August 27, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Parking is available at the garage adjacent to The Landing.
The announcement comes less than a week after MGM Springfield released the schedule for this summer’s Free Music Friday concert series.
