Local auto group surprises nurses with over $1,000 in prizes during National Nurses Week
HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - This week marks National Nurses Week, a time to appreciate the hard work, compassion, and care our healthcare workers put in every day to keep our community safe and healthy.
To celebrate, Tommy Car Auto Group delivered over $1,000 worth of prizes to nurses at two local hospitals this week.
Carla Cosenzi, president of Tommy Car Auto Group, led the deliveries Wednesday to Cooley Dickinson Hospital and Holyoke Medical Center and said it’s a small way for them to show their thanks for that all they do. “It’s our way of coming down and thanking the local nurses for taking care of the community. They take care of our families, our employees, our entire community, so this is just a very small way that we can show our appreciation and say thank you,” she explained.
