HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - A jury found a man guilty of a murder that happened on the Enfield Town Green in 2022.

John Narducci, 57, learned the decision on Wednesday, according to Sharmese Walcott, Hartford Judicial District state’s attorney.

Walcott cited trial evidence that showed Narducci stabbed 55-year-old Christopher Kennedy on Aug. 10, 2022.

Kennedy was found dead with multiple stab wounds at the gazebo on the green, police said.

“Witnesses reported seeing Narducci in the area the evening of the murder,” Walcott said. “Surveillance footage showed the defendant riding his bike near the scene throughout the day, and the blade of the knife recovered from him contained the victim’s DNA.”

Sentencing was set for Sept. 1 in Hartford.
