SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Monster X Tour returns to the City of Firsts and the MassMutual Center this weekend with two shows, Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

The show’s announcer, Jason Ellins, told Western Mass News that fans can expect to see their trucks get some serious hangtime this weekend. “Bringing back the X, it just stands for extreme, folks. I mean, we’re going back to our roots. We’re bringing in five of the top monster trucks in the nation. The drivers, the monster trucks that are here are going to be getting big air. They’re going to be going wide open. We built a track that is for up and down, obviously a smaller venue. You can’t go for long distances, but you can absolutely put those monster trucks up in the air,” he explained. “So it’s going to get crazy, and these hockey boards, we’re hoping they’ll still be here on Monday.”

Fans will also get an exclusive look at one of Monster X’s newest addition, The Werewolf. It’s driver, Stanley Hernandez, is very excited to perform for the crowd a MassMutal Center. “Oh, the crowd. Actually, it’s one of the best crowds in the nation right now. I love hearing them crawling and calling the name and everything. They turn me up, you know what I mean?” he said.

Fans who want to see The Werewolf up close and meet all of the drivers, or even go on a monster truck ride, can do so buy buying one of the Pit Party VIP packages. Doors open at 6 p.m. Friday and 12 p.m. for Saturday’s matinee. You can CLICK HERE for more information and tickets.
