MSPCA to hold fee-waived horse adoptathon

METHUEN, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - On the off-chance that you might be in the market for a horse, the MSPCA has you covered.
Their facility at Nevins Farm in Methuen is holding an emergency fee-waived adoption event for their horses this weekend. The MSPCA said capacity is very tight right now since they’ve had to respond to some big law enforcement cases, including the seizure of over 300 animals at a property in Hadley.
They added these adoption fees are rarely waived and usually range from $300 to $1,500, so if you’re looking to adopt, now might be the time.
You don’t need an appointment, but you should bring photos of the enclosure, shelter, or boarding facility the horse will be kept in with you when you go to adopt. You can CLICK HERE for more information.
