Multi-vehicle crash closes I-91 in Enfield, serious injuries reported

ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a serious crash in Enfield on Monday afternoon.
Troopers have been called to the area of I-91 southbound between Exits 47E and 46 after a report of a serious multi-vehicle crash, according to the Enfield Police Department.
The highway and exit 47 on-ramp are closed at this time.
State Police said serious injuries have been reported.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
No further details were released.
