NORTHAMPTON, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- A 41-year-old Northampton man has been found guilty in connection with the assault of a 27-year-old man in July 2024.

The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office said the victim suffered severe facial injuries, including a fractured jaw.

Officials said Jessie Hosmer was sentenced to four to five years in state prison. They added that 37-year-old Raymond Cordle of Springfield previously pleaded guilty to the assault in January and is serving 18 months in a House of Correction.

A third suspect, 48-year-old Christopher Barre, has pleaded not guilty and has not yet stood trial.
