Ocean State Job Lot closing a location in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- If your main stop for a trip to Ocean State Job Lot is at Liberty Street in Springfield, you’re going to need to find a new favorite soon.
On Monday night, Ocean State Job Lot sent us a press release saying they will be closing their store location at 1317 Liberty Street when their lease ends in March.
The goal is to place as many current associates as possible in equivalent positions at nearby stores.
The other Springfield, Chicopee, and Holyoke locations will remain open.
