Officers investigating possible kidnapping, assault near high school
EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- East Longmeadow police are reporting a possible kidnapping and assault near the area of East Longmeadow High School on Tuesday.
Officials say calls came in around 5:30 p.m. that evening. Police responded to the scene immediately, however the person involved had fled the area before officers arrived to the scene.
An active investigation is still ongoing, but East Longmeadow police say this is an isolated incident and there’s no threat to the community.
