Officials offering free car seat safety checks

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- If you want to make sure your kids are buckled up properly, Longmeadow First Responders can help.
Longmeadow fire officials are working with the Mass State Police to host free car seat safety checks on Sunday, February 1st, at the fire department on Williams Street.
From nine a.m. to one p.m., certified technicians will be on hand to inspect, adjust, and install those car seats. They’ll also be on hand to check if your car seat is impacted by any recalls or expirations.
No appointment is needed.
