Over $3M awarded to address domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Massachusetts organizations that help survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking will now have more financial support after the Healey-Driscoll Administration awarded $3.4 million to help them combat these issues.
The awards will go to 42 organizations statewide including police departments, district attorney offices, victim services groups, and places like Springfield’s Behavioral Health Network.
Healey said her administration’s now investing in these the frontline teams and providers, so survivors can find safety, regain stability, and move forward on their path to healing.
