PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- The City of Pittsfield has announced there will be no lifeguards present at Burbank Park this summer, also known as Onota Lake.

A search for qualified lifeguards began in March, but city officials said they were unable to fill the positions.

Children and weak swimmers are asked not to swim without close adult supervision. The city warned there will be no emergency services at the park. If in an emergency, call 911.
