Police close Route 5 between Holyoke and Easthampton
HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Drivers should expect delays along part of Route 5 between Holyoke and Easthampton.
Our crew saw Easthampton Police blocking the road near the intersection of East Street. The road is also closed in the area of Mountain Park Road in Holyoke.
The reason for the road closure is not yet known. Holyoke Police directed inquiries to Mass. State Police, who has not responded to Western Mass News. We have also reached out to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, but have not yet heard back.
