Police department offering self-defense classes for women

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Women in Chicopee are getting a chance to learn new skills and help them stay safe.
The Chicopee police announced a self-defense class for female residents, warning that spots fill up fast, and they sure do! All slots for the session beginning next month were filled up in just over 24 hours.
However, if you are interested, there’s still a possibility for you to attend. Due to popularity, two additional sessions are in the works.
