Police return to Enfield home where 12-year-old girl was found dead

ENFIELD, CT (WFSB) - Police executed another search warrant Tuesday night at a home where a 12-year-old girl was found dead.
Investigators from the Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit were seen going in and out of 176 Elm St., where Eve Rogers was found dead.
State police confirmed that they executed the warrant, but did not provide details on about it. The investigation continues.
Eve was found dead in her bedroom last month, investigators said.
Court documents showed that pills were found nearby.
Autopsy results found she had been sexually assaulted.
Her stepfather, Anthony Federline, has been charged with risk of injury to a minor and sexual assault. He pleaded not guilty in court on Monday.
The chief medical examiner’s office said it is still determining how Eve died. Police said it could be weeks before they get that answer.
Federline was a school bus driver in Enfield, but has been fired. He was not employed by the school district.
