Road closures announced for portion of I-91 in Chicopee

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced road closures for part of I-91 that will be in place Monday and Tuesday nights.
I-91 northbound exit 9 in Chicopee will be closed 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday.
MassDOT says the closures are for sign installation and maintenance operations. Traffic will be detoured via I-91 northbound exit 10B.
Scheduled work is subject to change depending on the weather.
