FOXBOROUGH, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – A three-time Super Bowl winning Patriot will soon be enshrined into the team’s hall of fame.

It was announced Wednesday that tight-end and five time Pro Bowl selection Rob Gronkowski has been voted, by the fans, into the Patriots Hall of Fame, located at Patriot Place in Foxborough. He will be the hall’s 38th inductee and will mark the fourth straight year that a three-time Super Bowl champion with the team has entered the hall, after Mike Vrabel in 2023, Tom Brady in 2024, and Julian Edelman in 2025.

“Rob Gronkowski’s performance on the field was extraordinary, but it was his infectious energy and consistently positive presence that truly set him apart,” said Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft in a statement. “He always brightened everyone’s day. He earned the respect of coaches and teammates through his work ethic, preparation and unselfish approach, while redefining what it meant to play his position. Rob became a fan favorite almost immediately and remained the standard at tight end for nearly a decade. We look forward to celebrating his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame and, in time, the Pro Football Hall of Fame.”

After entering the NFL as a second-round draft pick out of Arizona in the 2010 NFL Draft, ‘Gronk’ went on to be part of nine AFC East Division Championship teams, eight conference final teams, five AFC Championship teams, and three Super Bowl Championships. Over his nine seasons with the team, he caught 521 receptions for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdown receptions in the regular season and 81 receptions for 1,163 yards and 12 touchdowns in the postseason. His achievements of 80 total touchdowns and 7,861 receiving yards puts him in first and second place, respectively, in Patriots history.

He retired in 2018, but returned to the league at a Tampa Bay Buccaneer and earned his fourth Super Bowl ring in 2020.

The date and time for this year’s induction ceremony will be announced after the 2026 schedule is released and details are confirmed with Gronkowski.
