AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- Video showing Six Flags New England guests being escorted off the superman roller coaster has been making rounds online, and raising questions about safety. Now, Western Mass News is getting you answers from the park.

We have been told the ride has extensive safety sensors in place that stop the ride if needed. Six Flags New England also shared a statement with us that reads quote:

“On Friday, April 24 the ride did not complete its typical cycle. Trained employees safely unloaded all guests from the ride. Our team was in constant contact with the guests, and all riders were invited to return to the park.”

If you would like to see that video of the evacuation, make sure to tune in to ABC World News Tuesday night.
