Sold-out Bikes Fight Cancer charity ride returns for seventh year

SOUTH DEERFIELD — More than 600 cyclists and more than 150 volunteers from across New England will gather at Tree House Brewing Co. on Saturday, June 20, for the seventh annual Bikes Fight Cancer charity ride.
The sold-out event brings together riders of all abilities to support local cancer patients, wellness programs, family services and cancer research. Participants can choose from 25-mile and 50-mile cycling routes through Franklin County before returning to Tree House Brewing Co. for a post-ride celebration.
Since its founding in 2023, Bikes Fight Cancer has raised $800,000 for organizations serving individuals and families impacted by cancer throughout New England. Money raised supports critical programs, including the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, CHD’s Cancer House of Hope, Cancer Connection and Camp Rising Sun.
“Bikes Fight Cancer is about bringing people together to make a difference,” event co-founder Meghan Morin said in a statement. “Every rider, volunteer, donor and sponsor plays a role in supporting those affected by cancer while helping fund critical services and research.”
The 2026 event is presented by PDC Incorporated, whose support helps ensure that rider fundraising directly benefits the organizations served by Bikes Fight Cancer.
“At PDC, we believe in showing up for our community in meaningful ways,” Nick Shaink, co-owner of PDC Incorporated, said in a statement. “This partnership allows us to directly support individuals and families impacted by cancer while backing an event that brings people together around a shared purpose.”
