Springfield fire officials warn against tossing cigarettes after back-to-back blazes

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Fire officials want you to stay safe and do your part to prevent fires.
The Springfield Fire Department said that two structure fires in the past two days have been caused by cigarettes tossed into dry vegetation.
Officials remind you to never throw cigarettes on the ground, use a proper ashtray, and make sure cigarettes are fully extinguished.
