Springfield moped rider seriously injured in collision with truck

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A moped rider was seriously injured after they collided with a pick-up truck Thursday morning.
The crash occurred on the 100-block of Florence Street around 8 a.m. Police told us the rider has been taken to Baystate Medical Center, but we have not received any further updates on their condition.
Further details remain limited at this time as police investigate the crash.
