State Police: over 200 crashes reported during snowstorm
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Massachusetts State Police have released new information into their response to emergency calls during the storm.
The department said that, between Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday, they responded to 402 reports of disabled vehicles, four abandoned vehicles, and 13 calls to help drivers.
There were also several crashes along the state’s highways. State Police added that they were called to 222 crashes, 12 of which included injuries. They noted, however, there were no fatal crashes.
