SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) -- A State Police Trooper was involved in a car accident around 9:30 Monday morning on I-291.

From the photos of the scene, it appears to be an accident with another car.

There was damage to the front passenger side of the cruiser, and the bumper of the other car.
