Three-alarm fire burns at Ludlow industrial facility

LUDLOW, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Emergency crews are working to put out a three-alarm fire in Ludlow.
The state fire marshal’s office said that the fire is at an industrial facility on Wyoming Street.
Jake Wark, spokesperson for the state’s Department of Fire Services, said that hazardous materials technicians are responding to the scene to monitor air quality for hazards to the public and first responders.
Ludlow Police said that the incident is under control and there is no danger to the public. However, as a precaution, nearby residents may wish to close their windows and doors if one feels it’s necessary.
No other information was immediately available.
